Privacy & Data Handling
- FairVisitHealth is not a healthcare provider, insurer, or HIPAA-covered entity. We are a consumer price-comparison tool.
- Uploaded bill images are temporarily stored in private storage for processing and sent to Google Gemini after you consent. After processing, deletion is requested; original documents may remain temporarily if cleanup has not completed.
- We retain structured billing details needed to show your audit results, including procedure codes, line items, dollar amounts, provider name, and service date. Our identifier-removal process is designed to exclude patient identifiers such as names and insurance IDs; it does not guarantee that uploaded material or resulting data is anonymous.
- We recommend redacting personal details (name, DOB, SSN, insurance member ID) before uploading for added peace of mind.
